The ever-popular stones and beer bike tour exploring the secrets held in the city’s building stones will be winding its way through the streets once again on Sunday, August 16. Beginning with ancient fossils at the Redpath Museum, the tour travels west along Sherbrooke St. to the Sulpicians’ reflecting pool at the Grand Séminaire, heads up the old Indian trail on Côte St. Antoine Rd. that leads to Leonard Cohen’s boyhood home, glides downhill through the Glen to the McAuslan Brewery on the Lachine Canal for refreshments, and ends with the ghosts of Griffintown.
