Are you a scientist? An engineer? A non-artist? A “closet artist”? An evening of art making is being organized for July 16 by students and staff in the McGill community to help people discover their inner Rembrandt. Art supplies will be available for drawing, collage and origami. No formal instruction will be provided, but exercises from the classic book “Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain” will be discussed. All levels of expertise are welcome. The goals for this workshop are to foster self-expression, inspiration, creativity and community. A fee of $20 will help cover expenses.
Thurs., July 16; 6-9 pm, Bronfman Building, room 178. Arrive when you like, discussion at 7.
