The second installment of the Astrophysics Lecture Series in honour of the International Year of Astronomy features Sean Carroll, a senior research associate in the Department of Physics at Caltech, discussing the Origins of the Universe and the Arrow of Time. Carroll will speak on the nature of time, the origin of entropy, and how what happened before the Big Bang may be responsible for the arrow of time we observe today.
