On May 30-31, McGill will host the Third International Workshop on Global Internet Governance: An Interdisciplinary Research Field in Construction, a scholarly workshop that will bring together top experts from around the world to explore and debate the political, economical, social and technical aspects of Internet governance. Sun. May 30 will be dedicated to sessions aimed at increasing the interest in the global Internet governance field among various academic disciplines and society at large. It will include a roundtable that will explore global Internet governance research and open discussions on contentious topics like net neutrality, intellectual property, and privacy issues. Mon. May 31 will feature thematic presentations from scholars who will share and discuss their work-in-progress in Internet Governance-related research, with the aim of identifying emerging research themes and designing a research agenda.
