The annual Times Higher Education world university rankings will be out on Wednesday, Oct. 3, and already a short video about why McGill is a world-class university is top-ranked. The video, by Ryan MacDowell, of McGill’s Student Service Department, has received more than 3,000 “likes” on You Tube. The video with the most likes will be featured on the Times Higher website when the rankings are published at midnight +1 Greenwich Mean Time Wednesday morning. MacDowell’s video has already logged more than 3,000 likes (in You Tube stats that are several days old) and the nearest competitor seemed to be the entry from Brock University, with more than 1,900 likes. Nice job, Ryan!
