The Sustainable McGill Project (SMP) presents a screening of French aerial photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s 2009 film Home about the role that human activity plays in shaping our planet. The film is almost entirely composed of aerial shots of various places on Earth.
At the screening, members of the SMP will give a brief presentation on actions and activities that students can take part in on campus that help affect change immediately. They will also highlight some of the past successes of student activism at McGill residences, such as the McGill Food Systems Project’s Local Food Days initiative.
Home: Sunday, Sept. 20, 8 p.m., New Residence Hall, 3625 avenue du Parc. For more information contact Charlie Katrycz at 514 970 9255 or charles.katrycz@mail.mcgill.ca
