Once again this year, Goodman Cancer Research Centre (GCRC) is hosting a public forum on a topic that touches us all: cancer. Learn how and why cancer starts, how it develops into a potential killer, and how it is being rendered a chronic disease. The public forum, a series of three sessions moderated by GCRC Director Michel Tremblay, kicks off on Oct. 21 with a panel discussion about agents and diseases that trigger cancer and that sheds light on the question: Can you catch cancer?
GCRC Public Forum: Session 1, Thurs., Oct. 21, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.; Goodman Cancer Research Centre, Karp Conference Room (501), 1160 Pine Ave. W. The forum is free and all are welcome but seating is limited, so register early by phone at 514-398-4970 or by email at annette.novak@mcgill.ca.
