On September 29, global higher and business education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds released its Business Masters Rankings 2023, which rates the world’s top master’s degrees in five popular business subjects. Although only four years old, McGill’s Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) program cracked the global top 10 for best Business Analytics program.
The MMA program came in at the #10 spot, up from #11 last year. This is the third year in the global top 20 for the fledgling program, which this year also earned the highest rank for any Canadian specialized business Master’s.

Also in the 2023 rankings, QS gave high marks to both Desautel’s Master of Management in Finance program—which took its place in the global Top 20 by placing #19 in the Finance category—and, in the Global MBA rankings, McGill’s Master of Business Administration cinched 73rd in the world, up one spot from last year.
Each ranking is compiled on the basis of five key metrics: employability; entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes; return on investment; thought leadership; and class and faculty diversity. Collectively these rankings cover the post-graduate programs most in-demand amongst employers around the world.
