A week of fundraising fun officially kicks off on Oct. 25 with the Science Undergraduate Society (SUS) Charity Fair 2010. This year, the Fair is raising money and awareness for Dr. Clown, a Montreal-based charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of hospitalized children and their families, and to seniors in long-term care facilities through the use of trained professional therapeutic clowns who offer companionship, imagination, and play.
The highlights of this year’s Fair include a school-wide soccer tournament (Oct. 26-28) and a costumed 100m dash up McTavish Street (on the 29th). Evening activities include a video game tournament and poker tournament. In addition, food sales in buildings across campus will be held for the duration of Charity Fair.
