Jan 28: Gil Troy at the Bookstore

The McGill Bookstore, along with McGill’s History and Jewish Studies departments, welcomes Professor Gil Troy for a lecture and signing of his new book, Moynihan’s Moment: America’s Fight Against Zionism as Racism.The event takes place on the third floor of the bookstore on Monday, Jan. 28, at 12 noon.
Gil Troy is a leading political historian and has taught at McGill for more than 20 years.

The McGill Bookstore, along with McGill’s History and Jewish Studies departments, welcomes Professor Gil Troy for a lecture and signing of his new book, Moynihan’s Moment: America’s Fight Against Zionism as Racism. The talk and book focus on the United Nations 1975 Resolution pronouncing Zionism as a form of racism and racial discrimination, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s passionate response against the resolution, declaring it an anti-Semitic international law. The event takes place on the third floor of the bookstore on Monday, Jan. 28, at 12 noon. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
