McGill’s Social Equity and Diversity Education Office (SEDE) will be hosting and celebrating the 5th anniversary of Community Engagement Day (CED) on and around Thursday, Sept. 29. CED presents students, faculty and staff with an opportunity to engage with the broader Montreal community by offering over 30 projects and activities in partnership with community organizations. CED is about solidarity, not charity – by promoting multi-directional engagement, we wish to serve as an ally to community organizations. SEDE is also currently looking for project facilitators to help develop and/or facilitate community engagement activities, and a promotional team to help raise awareness for CED.
