Annual party rings in new school year

With throngs of people lining up across the field to get their corn, cookies and ice cream, the Principal worked the crowd to make sure everyone was having fun. And it certainly seemed like fun was on the menu, as people listened to a quartet from the Schulich School of Music; chased footballs, soccer balls and rugby balls up and down the field; or just sat quietly in the shade enjoying their meal with friends.

Members of McGill’s various varsity sports teams were out in force, as was Marty the Martlet, who patrolled the scene taking selfies with just about everyone.
