There is still time to submit nominations to the Principal’s Awards for Administrative and Support Staff for 2010-2011. This year, a new category has been added – Sustainability – which recognizes an employee who works collaboratively and demonstrates leadership with regards to campus sustainability. The other categories to present nominees are customer service, quality of work, initiative/innovation, teamwork and service to the community.
This awards program acknowledges the exceptional efforts of your peers by highlighting their contribution to the University’s objectives and strategic orientation.
Five recipients will receive an award of $5,000 in each of the following groups: management (managers and professionals), clerical, technical and library assistants, trades and services, team projects. Files submitted should cover the period from June 1st, 2010 to May 31st, 2011. The deadline to submit nominations is June 30th.
An advisory committee will present its recommendations to the Principal for final selection on August 31st, 2011. Each recipient will be notified in October and they will be invited to attend one of the fall convocation ceremonies to receive their award.
