Researchers at McGill are seeking ~200 young people, 14 to 18 years of age, to help them get strong to live long. Most Canadians of this age do not consume enough calcium and vitamin D to support musculoskeletal health. The research visits are held every six months for up to two years at our very welcoming Mary Emily Clinical Nutrition Research Unit on the beautiful Macdonald Campus. Participants undergo high tech yet fun and interesting measurements of muscles and bone and talk about nutrition and active lifestyles.
