A candlelight vigil for the victims of of Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 has been organized by the McGill Iranian Student Association and the Iranian Student Association of Concordia University. The vigil will be held today at 5:30 pm in front of Concordia’s GM Building (1550 De Maisonneuve West) on the corner of Guy and De Maisonneuve. Find out more.
Information available so far indicates three members of the McGill community lost their lives in the crash , including a student and two graduates.
McGill flags have been lowered to honour the 176 friends and loved ones who died in the crash. Principal Suzanne Fortier issued the following statement.
