Obesity affects one in four Canadians. The World Health Organization estimates that 2.8 million people die each year, worldwide, due to complications of being overweight or obese. This is the epidemic of the 21st century but what do we really know about it?
Come discuss and debate this issue at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre’s latest Café Scientifique – a free bilingual forum featuring a panel of scientific and medical experts working on different fronts to help put an end to this epidemic.
