Undergrads at the Faculty of Engineering can learn what it means to be a researcher long before most students their age could ever hope to. The Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering program, (S•U•R•E for short) pairs young minds with some of McGill’s top scientists. These budding researchers get a taste of the many opportunities open to them, learn valuable research techniques and earn a salary to boot. The results of their work are displayed every August at a Poster Session open to professors, students and staff from all Faculties. Check it out on Thursday, August 15 between 1 and 4 p.m. in the Trottier Engineering Building (Cafeteria level). Click here for more information.
