One year from now, on April 8, 2014, Microsoft will officially end support for Windows XP. As a result, McGill IT Customer Services (ICS) will stop supporting Windows XP at that time. All computers currently running Windows XP need to be upgraded to a supported operating system (eg. Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows 8 once it is available and tested at McGill) over the course of the coming year. LAN administrators should contact staff in their department with details on when their computer will be upgraded.
