Lace up your runners and get your sponsors ready because it’s that time of year again for McGill Dentistry’s Annual Run for Outreach. The student-organized event will be raising funds via a 5K/10K run (or 5K walk) through Mount Royal Park to benefit the Faculty of Dentistry’s unique Outreach Program which coordinates with various local community groups to provide free basic dental care to those who can’t afford or access private clinics. Registration is $10 and includes a t-shirt and a free post-run BBQ. (What could be better after running 10K for a great cause?)
Sixth Annual McGill Outreach Run: Saturday, Sept. 21 at the George-Etienne Cartier Monument on Park Avenue at 11 a.m. but arrive at 10:30 a.m. to pick up your T-shirt and sign in. Registration ends Sept. 13. For more information and to register, visit our website.
