A safe and healthful environment is vital to the attainment of the University’s teaching and research mission and no undertaking should be considered so important that it be pursued in an unsafe manner. In this course, designed to meet the needs of managers and supervisors, participants will become familiar with their internal and legal responsibilities and learn about safety management principles, hazard identification, risk assessment and the concept of due diligence, as well as the available systems and resources for effective health and safety management at McGill.
