Register now for Calcedonies, a theatre workshop on disability

Catch the Feb. 12 presentation of a theatre workshop of Calcedonies, a play by Dr. Jeff Nisker that examines experiences related to accessing assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities, and draws attention to important societal questions of equity in the availability and provision of these services.

The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT) and McGill’s Biomedical Ethics Unit, with support from the McGill Law Students’ Association, present a theatre workshop of Calcedonies, a play by Dr. Jeff Nisker that examines experiences related to accessing assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities, and draws attention to important societal questions of equity in the availability and provision of these services. It will be of interest to users of assistive technologies, clinicians, students, administrators, and members of the public. The workshop takes place Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 5-7 p.m., in the Montreal Neurological Institute’s Jeanne-Timmins Auditorium, 3801 University St. Admittance is free but reservations are required.
