On Monday, February 2, 2015, during its third meeting of 2014-15, the Board of Governors approved the Statutory Selection Committee’s recommendations to promote the following nine associate professors to the rank of full professor:

- Russell Hepple (Kinesiology)
- Vera Hirsh (Oncology)
- Larry Lessard (Mechanical Engineering)
- Jacob Levy (Political Science)
- Jens Pruessner (Psychiatry)
- Dietlind Stolle (Political Science)
