The City of Montreal has announced that asphalting will take place on the lower part of McTavish St. between Nov 25 and Nov 28.
This work is expected to last for one to two days and the exact date is not known at this point. During that time, some noise from machinery and strong odours from asphalt are expected.
After the paving is done, the fencing will be removed and the street will be accessible, although two excavation sites will remain at the north and south ends of the street, where further work is required. These two areas will be fenced and secured.
There is no word yet as to when the work at these remaining sites will be completed.
