OSD to host lunch for students with ADHD

On Tuesday, Oct. 30, McGill's Office for Students with Disabilities is hosting a free lunch (buffet provided) for students with ADHD who are seeking employment.

Are you a student affected by ADHD who is seeking employment? Are you starting to think about what might be the “right” job for you and worried about finding the right “fit” in the job market?

The Social Model of Disability can be really empowering when it comes to examining an ADHD diagnosis as a “strength,” not a barrier, in your search for employment. McGill’s Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) is actively developing forums and opportunities for students with ADHD to find the right professional match.

The OSD is hosting a free lunch (buffet provided) and information session on the “lens” to adopt on ADHD when seeking employment. The lunch is on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in room 4300, Brown Building (3600 McTavish Street).
