On Oct. 27, the City will hold a public consultation in the Thompson House (3650 McTavish) for the Promenades urbaines project. This initiative will create a pedestrian thoroughfare through the city, connecting the river to the mountain, as part of the City’s 375th anniversary. Sherbrooke St. and McTavish St. will play a key role in this thoroughfare, resulting in major renovations to the urban design of the streets to focus on pedestrians rather than vehicles. Come and meet City officials and review the presentations from 3–7 p.m. The public forum, including a Q&A session, will be from 7–9 p.m.
