Oct. 15: Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day event

The McGill University Health Centre invites the public to the first edition of BRA (Breast Reconstruction Awareness) Day.

The event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Les Cours Mont-Royal (1455 Peel Avenue), 3rd floor. Register as soon as possible, as spots are limited.

Dr. Omar Fouda Neel, from the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Dr. Francine Tremblay, from the Division of Surgical Oncology, will speak at a meeting to educate the public about post-mastectomy breast reconstruction and promote access to this surgery. Attend this important information session to learn more about breast reconstruction – an option every woman with cancer should know about.

Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with music, appetizers, refreshments and even a choice of spa treatments, such as massages, manicures and facials.
This event is free, bilingual, and open to the public. Register as soon as possible, as spots are limited.
