On Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Printemps Room in Omni Hotel (1050 Rue Sherbrooke Ouest), Professor Stephen Lewis from the Institute for the Study of International Development will speak on “After Ebola, What Next for Global Public Health?” Mr. Lewis is the co-founder and co-director of AIDS-Free World, an international advocacy organization that works to promote more urgent and more effective global responses to HIV/AIDS. His work with the United Nations – which included serving as Canada’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF, and UN Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa – spanned over two decades.
