McGillians Awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal was created in 2012 to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. The Medal has been awarded to 60,000 deserving Canadians, including 132 members of the McGill community.

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal was created in 2012 to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. The Medal honours Her Majesty for her service to Canada and serves to recognize Canadians who have made significant contributions to Canadian society.
