The flag atop the Arts Building was at half-staff yesterday in memory of the 14 women who were murdered at École Polytechnique 23 years ago, on Dec. 6, 1989.
A memorial service for the victims of the tragedy was held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. last night at the Birks Chapel (3520 University St.) to remember those whose lives were ended as they were preparing for promising futures. You can find more details about the event here:
