McGill remembers Polytechnique victims

The flag atop the Arts Building was at half-staff yesterday in memory of the 14 women who were murdered at École Polytechnique 23 years ago, on Dec. 6, 1989. A memorial service for the victims of the tragedy was held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. last night at the Birks Chapel (3520 University St.) to remember those whose lives were ended as they were preparing for promising futures.
