May 7: Café Scientifique on Fertility: Growing Concern and Seeds of Hope

On Tuesday May 7, people are invited to join a discussion with experts in the field of reproduction in order to learn about the mysteries of medically assisted procreation and to better understand what contributes to fertility problems.

Having a child is more difficult for some than for others. The biology of the human body is different for everyone, and the environment can also play a role. The infertility rate of Canadians has almost doubled in the last 20 years, according to the latest statistics. But what is infertility and how can science help us solve this problem?

On Tuesday May 7, the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre invites you to join a discussion with experts in the field of reproduction. This is your opportunity to learn about the mysteries of medically assisted procreation and to better understand what contributes to fertility problems. The event takes place from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Monument National, 1182 St. Laurent. This event is funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research. Learn more here.
