Join Dr. Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, co-Nobel Prize winner, at the inaugural Holmes Dean of Medicine Distinction Lectures on Monday, May 27. In 2008, Dr. Barré-Sinoussi received the Nobel Prize in Medicine, together with Luc Montagnier, for the discovery of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Currently Acting Director of the Regulation of Retroviral Infections Unit in the Department of Virology at the Institut Pasteur (Paris), Dr. Barré-Sinoussi will be a McGill University Honorary Degree Recipient in the Health Sciences at McGill’s upcoming Convocation 2013.
