In response to the cuts imposed upon operating grants to Quebec institutions of higher education, the Council of the McGill Association of University Teachers (MAUT) unanimously passed a motion condemning the decision.
MAUT also has called upon other faculty and student associations, as well as university administrations, to join together to oppose what it calls a “destructive budget policy.”
