The emerging field of sustainability is at the forefront of current scientific and social research. It spans a wide variety of academic fields and geographic scales. Real-world solutions to the challenge of sustainability will require discussion and collaboration between individuals with varying skill-sets and perspectives on human-environment interactions. The Sustainability Research Symposium @ McGill (SRS), running from 9-5 at Thomson House on March 14, is an initiative to encourage discussion of current research in the field of sustainability at McGill.
The symposium will feature a series of inspirational guest speakers, an oral presentation session, a poster session for undergraduate and graduate student research and/or class projects, and a discussion session to wrap up the event.
The symposium is open to all who register in advance. For more details and to register, go here.
