According to the Canadian Diabetes Association, some 8 million Canadians live with Type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes. Many do not even know they have the disease. The good news is that Type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed through changes to diet and activity patterns. On March 14, Mireille Moreau, registered dietician, will discuss dietary habits that people can change today to reduce their risk of developing this rapidly increasing chronic disease.
