The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) and Development & Alumni Relations (DAR) invite McGill researchers to an information session about how to approach foundations for research funding. To be held on June 11, from 10 a.m. to noon at James Administration (room 301), the session will provide background into how foundations operate, how McGill works to obtain foundation funding, and how researchers can be better equipped to approach foundations for funding. Prof. Becky Lentz from the Department of Art History and Communication Studies will share her insights from her tenure at the Ford Foundation, while Melissa Poueymirou (DAR) and Olga Naiberguer (OSR) will provide context on how both DAR and OSR work to engage foundations at McGill.
