James Sallis, renowned behavioural psychologist and Distinguished Professor of Family & Preventive Medicine at the University of California, San Diego and winner of the 2012 Bloomberg Manulife Prize, will join a panel of local health and fitness experts to discuss the results of his research on how the layout of our cities and neighbourhoods influences how we exercise, and what each of us can do to stay active and help promote healthier city planning, no matter where we live.
The event will be held on Jan. 23, from 12:30-2 p.m. in the third floor ballroom of the University Centre (3480 McTavish).
A brown-bag lunch will be provided. Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
