On June 11, 2015, the Executive Committee of McGill’s Board of Governors approved the Statutory Selection Committee’s recommendations to promote the following 11 associate professors to the rank of full professor. All appointments are effective August 1, 2015 unless otherwise noted:

- Shauna Van Praagh (Law)
- Marcelo Wanderley (Music Research)
- Sylvain Williams (Psychiatry)*
At the same meeting, Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou (Desautels Faculty of Management)** and Anja Geitmann (Plant Science) were appointed to the rank of full professor with tenure. Professor Bajeux-Besnainou recently came to McGill from George Washington University as our new Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management. Professor Geitmann is the new Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Associate Vice-Principal (Macdonald Campus); she was recruited from Université de Montréal. Shadi Martin (Social Work) was appointed to the rank of associate professor with tenure, and Jane Burpee (University Libraries)*** was appointed associate librarian with tenure.
