The public is invited to a free concert in the Allegra Chamber Music Series at McGill this coming Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. in Redpath Hall.
This concert will feature Montreal Symphony Orchestra principals who are on the Schulich School of Music Faculty, as well as current Schulich School students and Allegra Chamber Music founder and pianist Dorothy Fraiberg.
The musicians include Theodore Baskin and Emily Burt, oboe; Robert Crowley and David Gazaille, clarinet; Stéphane Lévesque and Nadia Pona, bassoon; John Zirbel and Rachelle Jenkins, horn; and Dorothy Fraiberg, piano.
Works by Jacques Hétu, Franz Krommer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Svend Schultz.
