Condolences to those touched by tragedy in Mecca

McGill would like to express its most sincere condolences to anyone who has been touched by the tragic event near Mecca, where more than 700 people died in the crush of crowds taking part in the last major rite of the Hajj pilgrimage earlier today. More than 860 pilgrims were injured in the incident, the worst in 25 years. Earlier this month, the collapse of a crane at the Grand Mosque killed more than 100 people.
