Provost Anthony C. Masi has, in accordance with the University Statutes, struck an Advisory Committee to the Principal to select a new Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management, after Dean Peter Todd indicated recently he would be leaving as Dean in March 2014.
Masi will chair the committee, which includes the following members:
• Representing Faculty: Professors Robert David, Adolfo De Motta, Alain Pinsonneault and Vedat Verter.
• Representing Senate: Professors Jim Fyles, John Galbraith and Barbara Hales and Mr. Eamon Duffy.
• Representing the Board of Governors: Claude Généreux and Lili de Grandpré.
• Representing students: Diego Mastroianni Dela Corte, Joel Taillefer and Ross McDonach.
Stephen Strople, Secretary-General and Kevin Chan, Deputy Secretary-General, will serve as secretaries to the committee.
The Advisory Committee welcomes any comments on the issues and challenges facing the Faculty/Dean and/or suggestions of candidates for the position of Dean of Management from members of the McGill community.
All comments and suggestions will be treated in the strictest confidence by the Committee and should be addressed, in writing, to Professor Anthony C.
