Looking for one last summer hurrah before the back-to-school season hits? Wondering what really goes on out there at that agricultural campus of ours? Come sample some ultra-local delicacies including veggies, fruit, honey and more at a Sustainable BBQ on the Mac Campus on Thursday, August 15 from 4-6 p.m. in front of the Centennial Centre. Ingredients provided by the Horticulture Centre, the Macdonald Student-Run Ecological Gardens, and the McGill Apicultural Association. The event is sponsored by the Macdonald Campus Graduate Students’ Society and Green Drinks Ste. Anne, and will include many sustainable features such as reusable tableware, low-carbon cooking methods, and composting of organic waste. For more information, go here.
