For the tenth year, the School of Computer Science is holding the Undergraduate Computer Research Symposium (UCORE’14) on Friday, Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. UCORE offers McGill undergraduates who have been engaged in research over the summer, often sponsored by an NSERC Undergraduate Research award or a Faculty of Science Research Award, to present and share their research with a wider audience. It also is a great opportunity to learn about the breadth of computer science, and exchange ideas and experiences.
The symposium offers 15 talks by students presenting their summer research covering a wide range of topics from programming languages, software engineering, computer games, machine learning, vision, to computer graphics.
All are welcome to attend.
