Season tickets for the 133rd season of football at McGill University are now on sale. A four-game package, valued at $55, is available for just $39 and includes a free McGill Athletics T-shirt, which translates into a $16 savings off the regular game-day tickets. A four-game parking pass for Molson Stadium is also available to season-ticket holders only for $40 extra.
Each home game is preceded by a tailgate party, featuring a barbeque, live music and refreshment tent, located near the eastern endzone entrance. The first three home games will be played on Friday nights, while the final contest will be a Saturday afternoon affair.
Head coach Clint Uttley and his Redmen are scheduled to play their home opener against Concordia in the 45th annual Shaughnessy Cup on Fri., Sept. 6. The second home contest will feature a “Fandemonium Game” where we will attempt to draw a crowd in excess of 10,000 when the Redmen will host Sherbrooke on Fri., Sept. 20.
The third visiting team to Molson Stadium will be the Bishop’s Gaiters on Fri. Oct. 4. The regular season finale, featuring the graduating seniors being recognized as part of the McGill Homecoming, is scheduled against the Montreal Carabins on Sat., Oct. 19.
