From Montreal to the mountains: Our summer in photos
Our annual photo gallery highlighting the adventures enjoyed by members of the McGill community this summer
By Neale McDevitt Editor, McGill Reporter
September 25, 2025
Summer may have been fashionably late this year, with May serving up more chill than sunshine, but when it finally arrived, McGillians made every moment count. From sun-soaked beaches to bustling city streets, mountain peaks to cozy local corners, members of our community packed their bags, and their cameras, for three memorable months of adventure, relaxation and discovery.
Whether it was a quiet moment on the water, a hike through rugged terrain or a slice of summer in Montreal itself, these photos reflect the many ways McGillians made the most of their time off. From near and far, these images tell stories of connection, curiosity and a well-deserved break from the everyday.
Scroll through the gallery below to see where summer took us – and to get inspired for your next getaway. A big thank-you to everyone who shared a glimpse of their summer with us!
